To enter Russia foreign tourists must first obtain a tourist visa. To obtain a Russian visa, you should contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate. ERS provides you with a one-day tourist invitation to enter Russia, which is necessary to obtain a visa. An invitation can be sent to you by fax, e-mail or by registered mail. The tourists, who received invitations from the ERS alone pay the consular fee for a visa at the Consulate of the Russian Federation, as well as the costs of shipment of passports to the Consulate and back.

On March 25th the amendments to the law on migration registration came into force. Visa registration dates extended from 3 to 7-business days upon arrival. If you arrive in Russia less than 7 days, no registration required. The registration address can be a place of accomodation or a place of work for foreign citizens staying in Russia on the basis of a working visa.
The tourists, without registration, will be required to pay a penalty, when you leave Russia. If you are in Russia and are staying in an apartment with friends or a mini-hotel, ERS can help you register your visa for the 1200 rubles (registration for one month).
